A lot of people like Taco Bell, and some people love Taco Bell.
And then there are those who really, really love Taco Bell.
Those may be the people you'll see wearing a new pair of Crocs decked out in black and purple with a full-on Taco Bell theme and the prominent slogan, "Live Mas."
Yes, this is really happening. Taco Bell made the announcement Tuesday afternoon that they've teamed with Crocs to sell their own line of Crocs Mellow Slide model. Taco Bell describes their forthcoming Crocs as "perfect for a beach trip, park hang - or a quick trip to Taco Bell when a craving strikes."
"This collaboration delivers on what both of our brands do best--listening to our fans and bringing their ideas to life in fun and unexpected ways," Heidi Cooley, chief marketing officer at Crocs said in a statement. "We know it doesn't get much better than kicking back in comfort with a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, so pairing our Mellow Slide with Taco Bell is the perfect combo."
And this isn't the first time Taco Bell has teamed up with a food brand to create some themed merchandise.
Last year, General Mills announced a partnership with Crocs to create Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Coco Puffs, Trix and Honey Nut Cheerios for the traditional Crocs footwear model.
The Taco Bell Crocs will be available online at Crocs.com for $60 beginning Wednesday, June 28.
Taco Bell adds, "early access for the slides will be shared with fans who have reached FIRE! Tier status, so watch your Taco Bell app inbox on June 20 for an exclusive link to be granted priority access to enter Crocs.com"
