The agreements signed in different strategic sectors include agricultural, oil, petrochemical, gas, scientific, technological, academic, commercial and cultural areas.
The Venezuelan president said at a joint press conference that Raisi's visit to Caracas "marks a new milestone" in the relationship, between the two nations that are called to participate in the construction of a new world.

The Iranian president said that both nations have "strategic interests, our cooperation is deep and strategic." Raisi warned that currently both nations have "common enemies, who do not want our sovereignty or our independence."
According to the president, two years ago trade exchange between the two countries was close to $600 million, now it is around $3 billion, and the goal for the near future is to reach $10 billion.
