His milkshake brings all the boys and girls to McDonaldLand. And now he's even making them in his color.
Beginning June 12, to celebrate Grimace's birthday, McDonald's is offering a "Grimace Birthday Meal and Shake," which includes a choice of McNuggets or a Big Mac, a medium French fry, and a purple shake, which according to McDonald's, is inspired by the iconic color and sweetness of Grimace.

The fast food joint said it's finally giving Grimace the birthday spotlight he deserves.
Now he's the happiest guy in McDonald's Playland, but believe it or not, he wasn't always the happy guy you see.
When he first debuted, he was a menace, stealing milkshakes from little kids. Can't really blame them, those McDonald's shakes are great. He also had four arms, which came in handy when trying to grab those treats.
Later, he became the good guy who has been known as Ronald McDonald's sidekick.
Just who is Grimace? We really don't know a lot about him because he doesn't talk. He obviously eats well. Also, there's a rumor Grimace is a giant taste bud, and he's happy because he's always eating fast food.
However, according to a release sent out by McDonald's, he hails from Grimace Island and has a huge family, that includes his Grandma Winky, aunts Millie and Tillie and his Uncle O'Grimacey. No word on why they're not fixing him a home-cooked meal.
According to McDonald's, "Our timeless bestie has become a fan-favorite known for his signature fuzzy purple look, friendly and playful personality, love for shakes, and of course - ambiguous nature. What exactly is Grimace? Perhaps we'll never know."
According to early reports, the new shake has a berry flavor, which makes sense since it's in honor of our purple fan favorite.
Ingredients: Sugar, Water, Corn Syrup, Glycerin, Vegetable Juice (Color), Modified Food Starch, Natural Flavor, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate (Preservatives).
