Three injured, 1 arrest after shooting at Japanese army camp
Tokyo, June 14 (EFE).- Three members of Japan's army were injured Wednesday in a shooting at a training camp in Gifu, for which another soldier has been arrested as an alleged suspect, authorities reported.

"There was a shooting incident by a member of the (army) at about 9am (12am GMT) this morning at the Hino firing range in Gifu prefecture, leaving three injured," Japanese Government Spokesman Hirokazu Matsuno said at a press conference.
"The shooter is already under arrest but no further details can be given because it is a case under investigation," Matsuno added.
An army spokeswoman told EFE it is investigating whether it was an accident or an intentional attack, and said those involved are members of the national troops.
State television NHK also reported that the detainee is a man under 20, a member of the ground division of the Japanese troops, and said the shooting was apparently carried out with an automatic rifle.
Other media reported that among the three injured transferred to receive medical attention, aged 20 to 60, two were in critical condition.
The incident occurred at a firing range in Hino, in Gifu, among the 10th division of the Japanese ground forces.
Local media showed images of various fire, ambulance and police vehicles around the military installations where the event took place. EFE
