67 express trains cancelled, five from Mumbai after Cyclone Biparjoy alert

As Cyclone Biparjoy will make a landfall on Gujarat coastal areas of Saurashtra and Kutch, the Western Railway (WR) has cancelled the operation of 67 express trains as a precautionary measure. Of the trains being cancelled, five are from Mumbai, leaving from Dadar, Bandra Terminus Station.

In addition to this, various safety and security precautions are also being taken care of by WR for train passengers in cyclone prone areas. Refund will be admissible as per extant rule, reads the official statement released on Monday June 12, 2023.
